Just a few days ago I was reading outside, the sun bright and warm on my face and hands. This morning I awoke to single digits, the snow a’dazzle in its mid-February sparkle. I love this time of year for its wild unpredictability, the hesitant reaching out for the Spring while still holding onto winter here in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Nature showing us so clearly what we often tend to do – hold onto what was as we move towards transitioning into something else. These deeply Piscean days reminds us to be compassionate to yourself for your own unique, unfolding process of transformation from the wintry zones in your consciousness to the inevitable unfolding of the new.
It truly is a Pisces time of year and more so this year than many others. Today Venus and Neptune conjoin in Pisces. This only happens every 165 years! I looked up historical events for 1858 and, unfortunately, so much of history is written and documented through a Martian filter: who was at war with whom and that sort of Martian focus. Imagine if history was written through a Venusian lens, focusing on who loved whom and what perfectly human acts of kindness were shared among one another.
Of course I would be thinking this today because the Venus-Neptune conjunction at 24 degrees Pisces is dreamy, preferring the etheric realms of the non-linear landscape of the deep unconscious than the burdensome responsibility of the dense physicality of Earth life. Venus and Neptune conjoined in Pisces want to rest on a cloud of marshmallow, merging with all consciousnesses, being carried, care-free, through a Candyland landscape. The downside of merging consciousnesses is that you could become overwhelmed with someone else’s story, when really the story you need to be paying attention to is the one you create for yourself. This is not to say you shouldn’t help when you can. Help, indeed, but not when helping depletes your own light. Pisces reminds us of the deep LOVE connection that binds all beings to one another. Fill your own light reserve with plenty of good and delicious LOVE for yourself, unconditional, hold-off-on-the-judgment LOVE. When you are filled up with unconditional LOVE for yourself you have so much more to share with others, and that feels so good!

Boundaries, and lack of them, are always a front and center topic when Pisces energy is dominant. Pisces is the ocean, the great dissolver of all things. Sometimes the letting go, the dissolving, can look like letting go of your own psycho-spiritual boundaries. Watch for this as we move into the Pisces New Moon on the 20th and a month where the Sun completes its journey around the zodiac, transiting the last sign of the zodiac. Attune to where you are focusing your attention and if your attention swerves into someone else’s consciousness, get back in your own lane right away.
Pisces will want to draw you into the land of faerie, fun to visit, but you must always have a strong foothold on Earth, grounded into her miraculous presence with whom we live.
Pisces feels like the most expanded experience of LOVE. Much LOVE is being beamed to us. When I was collating John’s channeling of the LOVE books, I was pretty taken aback by the information coming through about LOVE. The information completely changed my focus of attention, inviting me to expand my own awareness around what LOVE is. For some fabulous insights to LOVE I invite you to look into the LOVE BOOKS, especially as we take the deep dive into the Pisces state of mind.
