New Moon Solar Eclipse – 10.14.23
Clearly it is a terrifying time on the planet. Unimaginable horrors. Psychotic brutality.It is up to each of us to call in and anchor Venusian energy, the radiance of the Divine Feminine, in all her forms, to bring balance to a world on hyper speed madness mode.
This is the time that we have incarnated to participate in creating the shift from one way of living to another. And it turns out that this transformation is occurring in the way things have occurred on this planet since humans have been roaming about, and what a nightmare it is for so many of us, participating and witnessing barbarity we all hoped would never be seen again.
SO…what’s an empath to do?
Empaths are here to channel the higher vibrational energies coming to the Earth right now. It is impossible to do this work, to keep the channel open, if you are processing massive inputs of grief, sadness, trauma, and terror. Since empaths feel other people’s feelings, empaths need to claim their psychic boundaries very clearly so as to protect their energetic body.
As an empath you probably are HIGHLY sensitive to any kind of emotional shifts in the collective conscious. Do what you need to do to stay calm. In the calmness, in the stillness, you are allowing new energies to come to the Earth through you as a channel of that energy. It is imperative to keep your channel open now, unclogged with the feelings dominant in the collective. You cannot effectively bring in higher vibrating energies if you are focused on lower vibrating energies. This is the way of the empath – to clear the way for new energies.

This eclipse is powerful. You will be setting intentions that will play out in the new year, 2024. Do your intention-setting with awareness, with still ness. Watch for reactivity. Neutralize reactivity by doing good deeds for yourself and others. It always works for me.
The Sun at 21 degrees Libra opposes both Chiron and Eris at 17 degrees and 24 degrees Aries respectively. Eris, the asteroid of discord, and Chiron’s karmic wounds all playing out in the Mars-ruled sign of the warrior. Will we be warriors for what we stand for, for our own truths? The Libra Sun rules the scales of Justice, ruled by Venus. Libra always opts for the peaceful path. My dream is that all the water on our planet gets permeated by psilocybin and everyone just falls in love with everyone else, and with themselves. A veritable storm of psylocybin raining down upon us all.
Mercury at 17 degrees Libra conjoins this eclipse so we know that negotiations, conversations, and connections of all sorts are flavored with Libran diplomacy and the desire to come to just and fair resolution in all matters. Venus at 5 degrees Aquarius can be somewhat emotionally detached, able to see situations with slightly less of an emotional filter than the other placements of Venus. Aquarius supports humanity and has a global vision for new ways to approach old problems. Put that in your LOVE pipe and smoke it.
Jupiter moving retrograde at 13 degrees Taurus is still pretty close to Uranus moving retrograde at 22 degrees Taurus. Chaos is heightened as is relief by connecting with the Earth as much as you possibly can. Barefoot connecting is best.
Saturn moving retrograde at 0 degrees Pisces is far away from Neptune moving incrementally slowly retrograde at 25 degrees Pisces. Both are occupying the Neptune-ruled sign of Pisces, adding confusion to all the chaos, which is inherently confusing anyway. Extra care needed for your immune system.
Pluto is moving direct at 27 degrees Capricorn. The old systems are so obviously not working. Much change is afoot this next year as Pluto leaves Capricorn and moves into Aquarius. I can only imagine it’s going to be quite a ride. it already is.
