Revving up for Gemini blast!
You probably can already feel the energies shifting. What with the intensification of solar flares and the Aurora Borealis making its way all the way to the Florida Keys (what???) the cosmos is rockin’ and rollin’ and we with it. Are you buckled in or free falling? Or somewhere in between?
When a planet changes signs it first moves through the critical 29 degrees of the sign it’s been transiting before it enters the next sign. The critical degree is kind of a wrap-up of all that planet has influenced and engaged with on its journey through that sign. When Neptune, being a transpersonal, outer planet (along with Uranus and Pluto) changes signs, it creates shifts delineating chunks of time that have particular stories running and unique to that time period. Neptune moves through a sign approximately 12-13 years – Uranus moves through a sign in 7 years; Pluto 16-20 odd years.
Neptune first entered Pisces in February 2012. As Neptune completes its transit through Pisces in 2025, much has been revealed to us – that we are all ONE under the onslaught of a viral pandemic, that we are increasing our compassion for situations that show us how connected we truly all are. Many are learning to channel, to connect to personal guides and directly to Source energy, increasing attention and focus on intuition as the necessary balance of rational figurings. Meditation, yoga, and QI Gong are becoming mainstream practices, connecting us to the Neptunian world of the non-rational. Film, video, and music-making is not just for the select few but for everyone – think TikTok and Youtube and endless talent searching shows. That’s some of the upside of Neptune transiting Pisces.
Many have lost themselves in online worlds, separating from face-to-face, energy-to-energy exchanges. Entire fantasy worlds have been created that entice and seduce us into realms that exist only in our minds, and often not even our own minds, but in the minds of those who created those worlds. Fake news, alternative facts. The just-put-me-to sleep drug use that has been disastrous for so many. The increasing suicide rate, especially among young people, disillusioned and generally freaked out and/or too horrified to live. As my mother would say: “You don’t have to look very far to find something to cry about.” It’s been a wild ride, to say the least.
In the final degrees of Neptune moving through Pisces you’re invited to see what is real for you and what you may have taken on as real but isn’t, really.
With more immediate influence of some amped-up Gemini energy – Sun, Venus, and Jupiter entering Gemini- you’re sure to notice your mental body highly activated. If you already have an overactive mental body be well advised to incorporate healthy, grounding practices into your daily life or you may wander off into mind madness, which is nothing like mindfulness, but may disguise itself as such.
Jupiter is moving from the fixed Earth sign Taurus into the mutable Air sign Gemini where it will play out its expansive energy in communication, conversation, and the birthing of oodles of new ideas for a year. Venus is moving through the last degrees of Taurus before moving into Gemini the day before Jupiter gets there. Venus is moving quickly these days and will be transiting Gemini from May 24 until June 17, 2024. When Venus transits Gemini your head bubble will be highly activated. Mercury has moved into Taurus where it will be transiting until June 3 when it will join Venus and Jupiter and the Sun in Gemini. More Gemini gemini-ness.
Mars is in Aries until June 10. It will be a relief for all of us when Mars moves out of the war-like sign of Aries. Hopefully the Taurus energy will ground Mars into more concerns about the Earth and all of us who live here.
Saturn is about half way through a two and half year transit through Pisces. Giving structure to dreams and visions is a good place to give some attention and focus.

Pluto is working its way through the very early degrees if Aquarius, really stirring things up. Pluto will retrograde back into Capricorn early September 2024 through mid-November 2024. Then its full steam ahead in Aquarius and who knows what wonders that will bring?
