The year of the Yin Wood Snake, following a very challenging for many, year of the Yang Dragon, brings in a sensual felt energy of deep and profound transformation. The snake is a being of heightened sensitivity, feeling the effects of its environment on every scale of its rich, tapestried skin, adjusting to its environment as directed by its supremely refined senses. The snake sheds its skin – not be something else, not to turn into something other than itself, but actually becoming the new, shiner, more expanded version of itself.
An indication of a year of transformation for each of us, for you and for everyone you know. We each will shift, change, grow, have the opportunity to become more of ourselves, through following our own intuition and feeling states.
You may very well find yourself asking questions of yourself like:
What feels right for me?
Do I take action?
What would action look like for me?
What is in my field of feeling and influence?
How can I be a contributor to the greater good and still hold my center, my peace?
These and many other questions about who you are and what you want to experience will be front and center in 2025. Where these energies will be most felt and most played out is reflected by the movement of the planets in relation to your birth chart.
The New Moon in Aquarius, the first New Moon of 2025, brings energy of the NEW – new ideas, new ways of being, innovations for seemingly unsolvable problems.
With Mercury at 2 degrees Aquarius conjoining Pluto at 1 degree Aquarius and Venus at 25 degrees Pisces conjoining Neptune at 28 degrees Pisces, at this New Moon the NEW will come from your own genius, your own higher guidance, your own soul’s message to you about you and for you. Give yourself plenty of down time to hear your own voice, to receive your own guidance.
The changes of 2025 could feel jolting and disorienting or you could ride the wave with silky smoothness. If you’re in the jolting/disorienting group, reach out for support. Wood Snake says; be in community. Ask for help, receive help, giving help and support when you can. There is warmth and comfort when we are together.
