Spring Equinox _ New Moon in Aries
First of all…apologies for those of you who wanted to join us for an Equinox LIVE zoom gathering…in classic Saturn in Pisces form things just seemed to dissolve and the event was cancelled. Before we talk at all about the Equinox (yay!) or the New Moon birthing less than 1 astronomical minute after the Equinox, I really want to address this Saturn in Pisces energy – wow wow wow.
It’s really quite fabulous to track the movement of the planets in real time (you know what I mean) and notice, in yourself and in the people around you and in the circumstances that unfold, what you are feeling and what you are experiencing. The house(s) where
Saturn in Pisces is transiting your chart and the planets in your birth chart that are triggered by Saturn in Pisces, will show you where this energy of shift is happening, in a quintessential Piscean dissolving process.
With Saturn transiting my 3rd house I see that the way I had been communicating, especially around my siblings, and how I was hooked into set thought patterns (3rd house areas of focus) are changing quite significantly in that old patterns just seem to be melting away and disappearing as if they never were. I have to say that I find this quite amazing – and freeing.
More evidence that your focus of attention on a particular area, with the intention to understand the underlying patterns, actually can help you move through and change set patterns.
Think back to 28-30 years ago. What was happening in your life? What were you letting go of? What was falling away from you as you aligned with the next focus of attention in your life? SO much changed for me last time Saturn was in Pisces and I am excited to see the positive changes Saturn transiting Pisces this time around might mean for me. Allow for the allowing of the new as the old fades out.
Give yourself plenty of time to nap and relax and space out. To access the wisdom of Pisces you need to be in the most psychically receptive mode, like when you meditate or dream. Your dreaming will most likely be super activated during Saturn’s transit through Pisces (the next 2 and 1/2 years). Pay attention to your dreams and what the predominant feelings that are coming through. Those feelings are powerful indicators of underlying feelings that are seeking expression. See if you notice a pattern of feelings expressed in your dreams and look to see what those messages are telling you about your own life. The planetary movements give you so much material to work with…so much energy to use for your own evolution! So much support from the cosmos!
The Vernal Equinox occurs when the Sun crosses above the equator, moving from South to North. This is when the Sun enters 0 degrees Aries, when the day and night are of equal length. From March 20 until the Summer Solstice on June 21, when the Sun will enter Cancer, each day will have more minutes of daylight and the nights will get shorter for those of us north of the equator. The opposite will be happening south of the equator.
Interesting to note that the seasonal shifts – Vernal Equinox, Summer Solstice, Fall Equinox, and Winter Solstice – all begin with the Sun moving into a cardinal sign – Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, respectively. Each seasonal shift is marked by the Sun entering a sign that represents forward movement. Feel into this thrust forward as the Sun entering Aries joins Jupiter already stirring things up in Aries! You feel LOTS of movement in the area of your chart where the Sun and Jupiter enters Aries.
Venus has moved into Taurus. Love the Earth and all her beings!
Mars will be moving into Cancer March 26 and what a relief THAT will be after what has seemed an endless mind-reeling transit through Gemini.
