The Full Moon on Sunday falls at the very last degree of Aquarius opposing the Sun at the very last degree of Leo. Shortly after the Full Moon the Sun will ingress into the mutable sign of Virgo and the intensity of Leo will transition into the cooler, calmer energy of the Priestess archetype held by Virgo. Focus becomes about the harvest and bringing in what you have sown and tended to over the last 6 months. It has been a hot, grueling time in many places around the globe. Finding calm and coolness in the heat of these times, physically and energetically, is the work of the High Priestess at all times, but especially so now.

When a Full Moon occurs at the very last degree of a sign there is a feeling of completion happening or needing to happen. Look to where the axis of 29 degrees Aquarius-Leo falls in your own chart to see where completion and release is needed in your own life.

Aquarius ruled by Uranus, opposing Leo ruled by the Sun begs the question of liberation from the ego. Sometimes what you think you want and think you need is in exact opposition to what will truly liberate you from the demands of the ego. A great time this Full Moon to ask yourself what are you holding on to that you think you need that once released will completely liberate you from lower vibrational programming and stories of enslavement that you no longer need. Perhaps you are enslaved by a relationship or relationships that no longer serve your personal evolution. Perhaps you no longer need to engage with those who keep your vibration lower than you want. Perhaps you are tied to a job or a location or family programming that is keeping you from flying your free self in the way your soul desires. These are good things to look at during this Full Moon and if you are ready to release whatever binds you you might just find a new flight pattern that excites, stimulates, and thrills you.

Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are all moving retrograde at this Full Moon. Expect that all things are moving very, very slowly. Relax into the slowness and don’t try to push where pushing won’t work. As we wind down from the intensity of Leo allow yourself to slow down and just be with what is. Mercury is in Virgo until 8.31 when it enters the relational sign of Libra. Mercury in Virgo is very specific in communication and can be somewhat self-critical so watch for that. Choose where to focus your perfectionism. Clean your own closet, not anyone else’s.
